There is a high need for TK, multiple subject, single subject, and special education teachers in California. Recognizing that need, several counties have joined a regional consortium with Placer County Office of Education.
PCOE was awarded a grant from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) to assist classified employees in earning a Bachelor's degree (if needed) as well as a teaching credential. This grant is funded through June 2026 with a liquidation period that ends in June 2028.
